		<description>Because I&#039;d read about members of Greenpeace supporting the &quot;nuclear renaissance,&quot; I googled Greenpeace Japan and found that they seem to be quite active in Rokkasho.

I think there were always, almost always, quiet and noisy activists in different parts of Japan.  

I very much liked the footage of Sakai-san as &quot;militant&quot; activist--as the captain of his boat--back in the late 70s and early 80s--pushing against the riot police.  When someone said, &quot;You&#039;re going too far,&quot; well, I understood his indignation.  I liked that, and I also like the quiet reflections of Kikkawa-san and Tomabuchi-san, too.</description>
